I never really got this poem until my science teacher showed my class the lorax and we discussed the economical part of it and now, reading this I automatically started to do the same, and I was surprised that most of his poetry(including this one) relates to more than just random poetry. I sort of appreciate it more this way! (This one was about how regretting doesn't do any good and it's pointless and think before you do stuff and look ahead so you don't end up pointlessly regretting as much)

Hi Madeleine
Your unanswered prayers are waiting for you behind a locked door. It's rather like inviting someone in and leaving the door bolted. Maybe, even though you invited someone in, you didn't really want them in. When you truly want something, without reservation, and you are grateful in anticipation, the door will open and your dreams will enter
