Standard Windows speed-key combinations
Using your computer keyboard is faster and more efficient than using the mouse. At the least, you should know and use these shortcut key combinations:
- <Ctrl> a - Select the whole document
- <Ctrl> c - Copy whatever is selected to the clipboard
- <Ctrl> x - Cut whatever is selected to the clipboard
- <Ctrl> v - Paste what is in the clipboard to the cursor location
- <Ctrl> p - Print
- <Ctrl> z - Undo
- <Ctrl> w - Closes the current window
- <Ctrl> q - Closes the current application
- <Alt> <Tab> - Switch between open Windows applications
