VERSE:
Unless the LORD builds the house, its builders labour in vain. Unless the LORD watches over the city, the watchmen stand guard in vain.
THOUGHT:
“It’s all up to you!” That is a prevailing mind-set for high achievers in our world, but it misses the mark. The quality and degree of effort we bring to a task is important. We might also, through our own strength, build something that will flourish for awhile. However, our efforts to create something great or small will ultimately fail if the work is not from the God.
