VERSE:
Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers. But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night. - Psalm 1:1-2
THOUGHT:
My senses are constantly bombarded by streams of information from many sources. However, I don’t have to accept all of it. I can choose which sources of information feed my mind. The Psalmist reminds me that not only should I avoid those things that are not good counsel, but that I need to delight in God’s law. Then God will pour out blessings on me.
