VERSE:
His master replied, `Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’ —Matthew 25:21
THOUGHT:
Instant credit, instant breakfast, instant gratification, instant everything. We want it all now! We don’t want to wait for anything. God’s principle is different: we will be entrusted with much only after we have been faithful with a little. Let’s not dismiss choices about “small and inconsequential matters.” How we handle these reveals who we are and determines what we become.
